The Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) football defeated the host Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), 37-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Dons face the Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 3. Amador Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bruins enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 45-0 non-league loss to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA).

The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Las Lomas lost by Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA), 38-35, in a non-league bout.
