September 24, 2021: McKees Rocks, PA 15136 The Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) football nudged the visiting Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA), 28-21 in Friday's non-league game.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their game against New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Hurricanes come into the WPIAL AAAA Parkway game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, New Castle was tipped by Central Valley (Monaca, PA), 56-7, in a non-league game.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avonworth for a WPIAL AAA Northwestern Six game on Friday, October 1. Keystone Oaks will battle a Antelopes team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Antelopes record now stands at 4-1.
