Nebraska High School Football - Omaha Central knocks off Columbus

The Omaha Central Eagles football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Columbus Discoverers to 28 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gretna for a non-league battle on Friday, September 3. Omaha Central will play a Dragons squad coming off a 21-13 non-league win over Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Discoverers play the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 2. Columbus will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 34-6 non-league win over Omaha South (Omaha, NE).
