The Blanchester Wildcats football team (Blanchester, OH), was beaten 35-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH)

The Bearcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Roughriders come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, West Jefferson achieved victory over Urbana (Urbana, OH), 48-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Union for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 27. Blanchester will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 36-0 non-league win over Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
