The Montwood Rams baseball team (El Paso, TX), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX)

The Tigers now hold a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estacado for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 6. Frenship will confront a Matadors team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 4-7.

Next, the Rams confront the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 outing, on Friday, March 7. Montwood will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the outing with a 7-1 record after their 11-0 league win over Bel Air (El Paso, TX).
