May 5, 2014: Williamsburg, PA 16693 The Williamsburg Blue Pirates baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs to 0 in the Blue Pirates league victory on Monday.
The Blue Pirates (3-8) will now prepare for their match against West Branch (Morrisdale, PA). The Warriors go into the Moshannon Valley match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, West Branch was overwhelmed by Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA), 10-9, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Hornets go into the Inter-County - North match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Juniata Valley was overwhelmed by Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA), 10-1, in a non-league match.
