The East Lansing Trojans basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Jackson Vikings to 19 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okemos for a Capital Area - Blue contest on Sunday, February 8. East Lansing will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 56-42 league loss to Holt (Holt, MI). The Chieftains record now stands at 11-2.

The Vikings (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern (Lansing, MI). The Quakers enter the Capital Area - Blue contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Eastern was routed by Everett (Lansing, MI), 55-29, in a league contest.
