The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Prestonwood Christian Lions to 35 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Temple Christian for a TAPPS 4A District 1 contest on Tuesday, December 16. Fort Worth Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 80-58 non-league loss to Greenhill (Addison, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

The Lions (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX). The Friars enter the TAPPS 5A District 1 contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Bishop Lynch ran past Carroll (Southlake, TX), 59-55, in a non-league contest.
