Connecticut High School Basketball - Haddam-Killingworth can't hold off Conard
January 15, 2022: Higganum, CT 06441 The Haddam-Killingworth Cougars basketball team (Higganum, CT), was nudged 41-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Conard Chieftains (West Hartford, CT)
The Chieftains now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Hartford for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 18. Conard will battle a Hornets team coming off a 72-10 non-league win over Tolland (Tolland, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 8-1.
The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Blue Devils come into the Shoreline battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Coginchaug Regional was nudged by East Hampton (East Hampton, CT), 49-25, in a league battle.
