The Salem Lions basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Brownstown Central Braves to 28 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corydon Central for a Mid-Southern contest on Friday, December 10. Salem will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-37 league win over Austin (Austin, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.
