The Montebello Oilers basketball team (Montebello, CA), was toppled 47-36 in Monday's non-league battle with the host El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA)

The Dons now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whittier for a Del Rio battle on Wednesday, January 5.

The Oilers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Wiseburn- Da Vinci beat St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA), 32-22, in a non-league battle.
