The Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) basketball crushed the host Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX), 55-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (19-11) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 13-16 record. In their last test, Valley View was trounced by Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX), 56-24, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 16-14 record. They play next when they travel to S & S Consolidated for a 3A Region II District 10 test on Friday, February 4. Paradise will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 38-30 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Rams record now stands at 18-7.
