The Independence Patriots volleyball team (Glendale, AZ), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ)

The Scorpions (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ). The Wolves enter the III Section III challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Estrella Foothills went down by Verrado (Buckeye, AZ), 3-2, in a league challenge.
