Florida High School Baseball - Countryside tipped by East Lake
March 3, 2015: Tarpon Springs, FL 34688 The East Lake Eagles baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Countryside Cougars to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast (St. Petersburg, FL). The Vikings come into the 7A District 9 challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Northeast got by Osceola (Seminole, FL), 7-5, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Countryside falls to 5-3 on the season. The Cougars host Pinellas Park (Largo, FL) to encounter the Patriots in a 7A District 9 challenge on Friday, March 6. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Pinellas Park won 18-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Dixie Hollins (St. Petersburg, FL)
