Ohio High School Basketball - Parma can't hold off Valley Forge

The Valley Forge Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Parma Redmen to 53 in the Patriots league triumph on Wednesday.

The Patriots now sport a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky River for a Great Lakes contest on Friday, February 8. Valley Forge will battle a Pirates team coming off a 72-26 league loss to Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 6-12.

The Redmen (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Garfield Heights (Garfield Heights, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Garfield Heights was nudged by Chippewa (Doylestown, OH), 73-28, in a non-league contest.
