The Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) basketball nipped the host Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE), 45-38 in Saturday's league test.

The Rockets (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Kearney (Kearney, NE). The Bearcats go into the A District TBD test with a 2-4 record.

The Thunderbolts now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln East for a A District TBD test on Friday, December 21. Pius X will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 64-47 non-league loss to Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 4-2.
