Illinois High School Basketball - Streator ripped by Mendota
January 5, 2019: Streator, IL 61364 The Mendota Trojans basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Streator Bulldogs to 27 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Falls for a Big Northern contest on Tuesday, January 8. Mendota will meet a Rockets team coming off a 55-25 non-league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 14-8.
The Bulldogs (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats enter the Interstate Eight contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Wilmington triumphed over Grant Park (Grant Park, IL), 38-16, in a non-league contest.
