Washington High School Basketball - Castle Rock knocked off by R.A. Long
December 14, 2018: Longview, WA 98632 The R.A. Long Lumberjacks basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Castle Rock Rockets to 46 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hockinson for a 2A Greater St. Helens contest on Tuesday, December 18. R.A. Long will battle a Hawks team coming off a 65-47 non-league loss to Union (Vancouver, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-1.
The Rockets (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Winlock (Winlock, WA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Winlock was defeated by Toledo (Toledo, WA), 61-36, in a league contest.
