The Rain Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Saraland Spartans to 20 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 22. Rain will battle a Aggies team coming off a 68-12 non-league win over W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 22-4.

The Spartans (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Blount (Eight Mile, AL). The Leopards enter the 6A Area 1 contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Blount triumphed over Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL), 49-29, in a league contest.
