December 8, 2018: Okemos, MI 48864 The Hartland Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Okemos Chieftains to 40 in the Eagles league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 11. Hartland will battle a Hawks team coming off a 45-43 non-league win over Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
The Chieftains (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Brighton (Brighton, MI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Brighton prevailed over Manton (Manton, MI), 41-23, in a non-league contest.
