Connecticut High School Basketball - Stamford knocked off by Kolbe-Cathedral
December 29, 2018: Stamford, CT 06902 The Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Stamford Black Knights to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weaver for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 3. Kolbe-Cathedral will meet a Beavers team coming off a 75-37 non-league win over Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA). The Beavers record now stands at 4-2.
The Black Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Norwich Free Academy was defeated by Hamden (Hamden, CT), 62-44, in a non-league contest.
