The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the host Piedmont Community Charter Patriots to 25 in the Gryphons league victory on Tuesday.

The Gryphons now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakbrook Prep for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 7. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 40-38 league loss to Spartanburg Day (Spartanburg, SC). The Knights record now stands at 18-3.

The Patriots (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the Southern Piedmont 1A contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Bessemer City was nudged by Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 60-35, in a league contest.
