The Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE) varsity basketball team lost Friday's home non-conference game against Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Bancroft, NE) by a score of 62-18.
The Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast Wolverines basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Tekamah-Herman Tigers to 18 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Point-Beemer for a C1 District 6 contest on Saturday, January 5. Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast will battle a Cadets team coming off a 60-19 league win over Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE). The Cadets record now stands at 10-0.
The Tigers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Patriots enter the C2 District 6 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Clarkson/Leigh triumphed over East Butler (Brainard, NE), 46-24, in a non-league contest.
