The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Essex Hornets to 27 in the Redhawks league triumph on Monday.

The Redhawks now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burlington for a Metro contest on Thursday, January 31. Champlain Valley Union will meet a Seahorses team coming off a 69-36 league loss to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Seahorses record now stands at 5-8.
