The St. Ignatius Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Xavier Prep Saints to 3 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs go into the West Catholic match with a 13-3 record. In their last match, Archbishop Mitty edged Acalanes (Lafayette, CA), 4-1, in a non-league match.
