April 28, 2018: Charleston, WV 25311 The Capital Cougars baseball team (Charleston, WV), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV)
The Big Reds now hold a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Charleston for a Mountain State outing on Wednesday, May 2. Parkersburg will confront a Black Eagles team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Capital (Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 11-10.
Next, the Cougars confront the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a Mountain State outing, on Thursday, May 3. Capital will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record.
