The Sequoia Cherokee baseball team (Redwood City, CA), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Selma Bears (Selma, CA)

The Bears now hold a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minarets for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 27. Selma will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Riverdale (Riverdale, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-1.

Next, the Cherokee confront the Lindsay Cardinals (Lindsay, CA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 27. Sequoia will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the outing with a 3-8 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to McLane (Fresno, CA).
