March 15, 2018: Eugene, OR 97401 The Sheldon Irish baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Thurston Colts to 2 in the Irish non-league victory on Thursday.
The Irish (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Portland, OR). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Lincoln was edged by Columbia River (Vancouver, WA), 10-5, in a non-league match.
The Colts (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Lancers go into the 5A Midwestern match with a 1-0 record.
