Ohio High School Lacrosse - Avon overwhelms St. Vincent-St. Mary
April 14, 2018: Akron, OH 44303 The Avon Eagles lacrosse team scored 13 points and limited the host St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Westlake (Westlake, OH). The Demons go into the Region 2 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Westlake was overwhelmed by Mentor (Mentor, OH), 9-8, in a league match.
With the defeat, St. Vincent-St. Mary drops to 3-5 on the season. The Fighting irish travel to Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH) to play the Cardinals in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 17. The Cardinals go into the match with a record of 2-4. Cardinal Mooney lost 15-2 in their recent non-league match against McDowell (Erie, PA)
