The Sun Valley Spartans lacrosse squad (Monroe, NC), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Thursday's league contest with the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC)

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Porter Ridge will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 6-9 record after their 17-4 league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).

The Spartans now sport a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Butler for a non-league contest on Monday, April 17. Sun Valley will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.
