Kentucky High School Basketball - Hancock County thwarts St. Mary
December 22, 2009: Lewisport, KY 42351 The Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) basketball felled the visiting St. Mary Vikings (Paducah, KY), 67-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hornets (9-0) will now prepare for their test against McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, McLean County defeated Trigg County (Cadiz, KY), 48-39, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trigg County for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 23. St. Mary will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 48-39 non-league loss to McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-4.
