The Grand Valley Cardinals (Parachute, CO) basketball felled the visiting Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO), 44-31 in Saturday's league outing.

The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Basalt (Basalt, CO). The Longhorns go into the 3A Western Slope outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Basalt gained a win over Aspen (Aspen, CO), 49-45, in a league outing.
