California High School Basketball - The Nueva School can't hold off Crystal Springs Uplands
November 28, 2023: San Mateo, CA 94403 The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons basketball team scored 40 points and held the host The Nueva School Mavericks to 37 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Gryphons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Shasta for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Crystal Springs Uplands will battle a Black Bears team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA). The Black Bears record now stands at 2-0.
The Mavericks (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Mountain View Academy (Mountain View, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
