The Thunderbirds (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Montezuma-Cortez nipped Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 14-10, in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuba City for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 7. Hopi will meet a Warriors team coming off a 43-6 non-league loss to Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
