The John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) football routed the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 47-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Monarchs face the Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 15. John Marshall will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Big Reds enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH).

The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Eagles enter the Big Ten bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Byrd walloped Keyser (Keyser, WV), 20-14, in a non-league bout.
