The East Lincoln Mustangs football squad scored 41 points and restricted the host North Gaston Wildcats to 22 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Gaston for a non-league battle on Friday, September 14. East Lincoln will face a Warriors squad coming off a 46-0 non-league loss to Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
