The Wheaton Knights football team (Silver Spring, MD), was ripped 42-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD)

The Blazers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD). The Panthers come into the Montgomery County 4A - East challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Paint Branch trounced Whitman (Bethesda, MD), 45-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Einstein for a Montgomery County 4A - East challenge on Friday, September 21. Wheaton will meet a Titans team coming off a 30-0 league loss to Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.
