The Menard Yellowjackets football squad scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Harper Longhorns to 26 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miles for a 2A-2 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 12. Menard will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 24-14 non-league win over Munday (Munday, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Longhorns play the Center Point Pirates (Center Point, TX) in a 2A-1 Region IV District 14 battle, on Friday, October 12. Harper will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
