September 28, 2018: Naruna, VA 24576 The McCluer Fighting Blues football squad scored 54 points and restricted the host Campbell Generals to 42 in the Fighting Blues non-league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Blues now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Craig County for a Pioneer battle on Friday, October 5. McCluer will play a Rockets squad coming off a 43-13 non-league win over Montcalm (Montcalm, WV). The Rockets record now stands at 2-4.
Coming up next, the Generals play the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) in a Dogwood battle, on Friday, October 5. Campbell will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 62-0 league win over Altavista Combined School (Altavista, VA).
