September 28, 2018: Natchez, MS 39120 The West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) football routed the host Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS), 35-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) in a 5A Region 3 bout, on Friday, October 5. West Jones will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 60-18 league win over Wingfield (Jackson, MS).
The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Braves enter the 5A Region 3 bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, South Jones walloped Forest Hill (Jackson, MS), 40-8, in a league bout.
