Texas High School Football - Amarillo sneaks past Monterey
October 5, 2018: Amarillo, TX 79109 The Amarillo Sandies football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Monterey Plainsmen to 24 in the Sandies league victory on Friday.
The Sandies now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a 5A-1 Region I District 2 battle on Friday, October 12. Amarillo will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 42-23 league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-1.
