The Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) softball routed the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 11-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Huskies (16-3) will now prepare for their bout against Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Tigers go into the Cardinal bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Chapmanville Regional was routed by Winfield (Winfield, WV), 5-1, in a league bout.
