The Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) football nudged the host Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL), 35-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Ramblers face the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 17. Loyola Academy will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 21-0 league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL).
