November 11, 2016: Naugatuck, CT 06770 The Naugatuck Greyhounds football squad scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Waterbury Career Academy Spartans to 18 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Friday.
The Greyhounds now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ansonia for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 24. Naugatuck will play a Chargers squad coming off a 68-14 non-league win over Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT). The Chargers record now stands at 9-0.
Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Gilbert-Northwestern Regional Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, November 24. Waterbury Career Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
