September 22, 2016: Meadville, MS 39653 The Franklin County Bulldogs football team (Meadville, MS), was beaten 20-9 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Tylertown Chiefs (Tylertown, MS)
The Chiefs (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 8 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Perry Central achieved victory over Mize (Mize, MS), 48-27, in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wilkinson County for a 3A Region 7 challenge on Friday, September 30. Franklin County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 34-22 non-league win over Ferriday (Ferriday, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
