The Matadors (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Indians come into the 5A Region I District 2 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Ysleta was knocked off by Canutillo (Canutillo, TX), 28-21, in a league challenge.
The Scorpions now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, October 14. Horizon will meet a Rangers team coming off a 55-21 league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 3-3.
