North Carolina High School Basketball - Cedar Ridge can't hold off Webb
January 20, 2016: Hillsborough, NC 27278 The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves basketball team (Hillsborough, NC), was nudged 38-34 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC)
The Warriors now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern for a Big Eight 3A battle on Friday, January 22. Webb will battle a Spartans team coming off a 51-45 league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 13-4.
The Fighting Red Wolves (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Vance (Henderson, NC). The Vikings come into the Big Eight 3A battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Northern Vance was nudged by Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 73-42, in a league battle.
