The Veterans Memorial basketball team (Corpus Christi, TX), was overwhelmed 82-21 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Johnson Jaguars (San Antonio, TX)

The Jaguars now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne-Champion for a non-league battle on Friday, November 20. Johnson will battle a Chargers team coming off a 70-52 non-league win over Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 5-2.

The (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, St. Anthony was overwhelmed by Lytle (Lytle, TX), 55-49, in a non-league battle.
