June 1, 2019: Coon Rapids, IA 50058 The Hampton-Dumont Bulldogs (Hampton, IA) softball routed the host Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA), 15-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Humboldt toppled Mason City (Mason City, IA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Boyer Valley for a non-league bout on Monday, June 3. Coon Rapids-Bayard will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Woodbine (Woodbine, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
