The Clark Cougars (San Antonio, TX) softball nipped the visiting Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 6-5 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Cougars (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Marshall (San Antonio, TX). The Rams go into the 6A Region IV District 28 bout with a 6-11 record.

The Raiders now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Brennan for a 6A Region IV District 28 bout on Friday, March 29. Taft will confront a Bears squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Bears record now stands at 13-5.
